Arlana Kurtz is a speculative fiction writer and blogger. Her short story 'Touch of a Lie' won runner-up in WOW! Women on Writing's Summer 2016 Short Story contest.

She cut her teeth early on horror, fantasy, and science fiction with C.S. Lewis, the ‘Goosebumps’ series, Nancy Drew, and the movie ‘Poltergeist’ (which she called ‘Polka-Dot’. She was five). She graduated from Full Sail University in 2013 with a BFA in Creative Writing in Entertainment and is a member of two local writing groups.  Currently, she is working on her first fantasy novel.
